Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer with good knowledge of embedded systems to:

● Planning, developing and implementing firmware.

● Define and execute system integration validation and debugging of electronic solutions.

● Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronic (sub-) assemblies and equipment.

● Designing firmware solutions based on company or project needs.

● Ensuring the firmware is always functional and up-to-date.

● Testing firmware releases.

● Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.

● Participate in the continuous improvement activities of the company’s products and services.

● Integration of the software with other hardware and/or software modules.

● Specification and implementation of drivers, algorithms and protocols to be integrated into their communications systems.

Experience

● At least +3 years of working experience with firmware development.

● Fluent in Spanish and English.

● Good knowledge of electronic components, topologies, control, and modulation.

● Proficient in structured firmware programmings such as C, C++, or script languages.

● Hands-on experience in verification and troubleshooting in an embedded firmware application.
