Job Description

At Q-tech, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Manager for a public entity with almost 40 years of history. This organization operates throughout Catalonia, with 145 service points, 20 centers, and around 900 employees.

 

Mission

Ensure information security in accordance with current regulations and management guidelines.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage information security: Plan, design, and implement policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and information.
  • Manage security risks: Identify security risks and assess their impact on the organization. This also involves developing plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding information security.
  • Manage training and awareness: Provide staff training on the organization's security policies and procedures and foster a security-conscious culture.
  • Manage incident response: Develop plans to respond to security incidents and coordinate responses when they occur.
  • Conduct audits: Perform periodic audits to ensure that security systems and processes are functioning correctly.
  • Manage relationships with third parties: Ensure that third parties working with the organization comply with established security policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties relevant to the role that may be assigned.

 

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • C1 level in Catalan or equivalent.

 

Knowledge

  • Vulnerability analysis: Implement measures or improvements to protect information in case vulnerabilities are detected.
  • Network security: Identify and define who has access to files or documents to ensure that only authorized individuals can access them.
  • Project management: Ability to create and implement a security master plan to protect company data.
  • National Security Framework: Familiarity with cybersecurity directives and regulations within the Administration.

 

Preferred Experience in:

  • Managing and overseeing information security policies and standards.
  • Managing specific security tools such as NGFW firewalls, IPS, IDS, SIEM, and EDR/XDR, among others.
  • Performing technical security audits (pentesting) on networks and systems.
  • Forensic analysis and incident response (DFIR).
  • Network switching and routing protocols.
  • Coordinating security and data protection management projects.
  • Managing security in IT services.
