From q-tech we are collaborating with a global leader in reusable packaging solutions for fresh food, is building a Digital Hub in Spain and is looking to incorporate Data Engineer profiles for its internal team. This company is committed to innovation and positive impact on the environment, driving a circular economy model that makes a difference in the industry.

Recently, major technology leaders in Spain have joined the company to carry out a far-reaching digital transformation. Your mission: to develop data-driven products, using advanced technology such as information systems and GPS to optimize the global fresh food supply chain.

What you will do in this role:

Data ingestion and processing.
Database management and warehousing.
Implement predictive analytics systems to anticipate potential problems.
Data analysis and reporting.
Automation and scalability.

In short, participate in the creation of a robust and scalable data infrastructure that supports the optimization of logistics operations, improves delivery efficiency and provides valuable insights for strategic decision making.

Professional Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred.
3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
Proficient in Python, Python PySpark (computational models), Databriks (Spark cluster in Azure environment), Data visualization with PowerBI, etc.
Experience with Azure cloud services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).
Experience in design, development and maintenance of ETL pipelines.
Knowledge of DBT- Data modeling is a plus.
Fluent in English
