IT Director – Transformation & Innovation

Job Description

We are looking for an IT & Innovation Director to join a well-established company in the services sector.

This is a key role focused on evolving the technology function, professionalizing its management, and positioning IT as a strategic business partner.

 Your Mission

 Align people, processes, and technology with the company’s priorities, leading the team and building a more autonomous, reliable, innovative, and service-oriented IT function.

 Responsibilities

• Define and execute the short-, medium-, and long-term IT strategy and technology roadmap.
• Lead, develop, and structure the IT team, fostering autonomy, delegation, and accountability.
• Implement working methodologies to improve planning, prioritization, and on-time delivery.
• Drive transformation initiatives across automation, data, business applications, and cybersecurity, while managing budgets and vendors.
• Act as the key liaison between senior management, operational teams, the IT team, and external partners, promoting solutions that deliver measurable business value.

 Requirements

• Solid experience leading IT functions or teams, with responsibility for people, projects, vendors, and budgets.
• Proven experience defining technology roadmaps and delivering transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem — Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365 — and the ability to effectively assess solutions and technology partners.
• Strong business mindset and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and demanding environments.
• Natural leadership, assertive communication, strong influencing skills, results orientation, and availability to work on-site in Barcelona.
