IT Transformation Manager (Project Manager)

Job Description

At Q-tech we are collaborating with Banc Sabadell in the search for an IT Transformation Manager to join the Operations and Technology Division.

Mission

You will lead strategic projects that help the bank achieve its priorities of technological modernization, operational efficiency, and the evolution of digital services. You will be responsible for proposing, validating, and implementing solutions that transform processes, applications, and organizational models, directly impacting the experience of our clients and teams.

Functions

• Design, validate, and execute technological and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Seek sustainable solutions aligned with Banc Sabadell’s frameworks.
• Lead the implementation of solutions across different technologies and environments.
• Manage dependencies, external teams, and cross-functional projects.
• Analyze, prioritize, and land transformation programs with a focus on KPIs.
• Support the definition of digital business processes.
• Perform reporting and consolidation of execution results.
• Manage the budget and financial viability of each project.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
• +5-10 years of experience leading complex technological transformation projects, processes, and/or organizational environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and management skills in highly complex environments.
• Ability to deliver innovative solutions and drive change.
• Cross-functional technical knowledge. Knowledge in Web development, APIs/Microservices, SPAs, AngularJS, Low-code, Cloud, Security, etc. will be valued.
• Ability to maintain technical communication with vendors, technology architects, etc.
• Although you will not directly manage a team, you will be required to coordinate different teams and areas.

It will be a plus if you have

• Experience in process definition and modeling with BPMs.
• Knowledge of legacy technologies (Visual Basic, Visual C, legacy versions of Java).
• Previous experience in the banking sector
