We are currently looking for a skilled and strategic-minded Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join an innovative and fast-growing international scale-up in the Life Sciences sector.
With strong backing after a recent Series B funding round and a growing global footprint, the company is reshaping how compliance and quality assurance are managed across complex supply chains.
As a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping the infrastructure strategy and operations. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will collaborate closely with technical leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructure that supports the company’s rapid growth and product evolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure (Kubernetes-based) with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Lead infrastructure monitoring initiatives using the full Datadog suite to ensure proactive system visibility and reliability.
- Collaborate with team leads and the software architect to align infrastructure with product and engineering goals.
- Define and enforce best practices in infrastructure security and compliance, supporting audit readiness and certifications.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools to streamline development and deployment.
- Mentor other engineers and promote DevOps best practices within the team.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities across the platform’s infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proven hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation
- Strong background in setting up and maintaining observability tools (preferably Datadog).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
- A strategic mindset and ability to engage in technical planning and product-aligned infrastructure decisions.
- Strong security and compliance awareness in cloud-native environments.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and comfortable leading initiatives from concept to execution.
