Support Engineer (Go/Python)

Job Description

Q-tech is collaborating with a company whose product is a SaaS (OpenSource) that helps companies to take advantage of AI technologies, based on a vector search database. They develop both the project itself and the AI solutions built on its foundation. There are approximately 60 people and the head office is in Berlin, although they are also based in Spain, France and the USA. Currently there are 2 teams in IT: Cloud and Core.

Stack: Python and Go.

English is a must.

We are looking for a Software Support Engineer to ensure a stable and secure operation of the managed solutions, who can deal with high complexity and performance issues on a daily basis.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Provide technical support to customers, resolving inquiries and issues related to vector database products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and extend support tools, including database operations.
• Work closely with customers to understand their unique use cases and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of support documentation.

Professional Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of Go or Python experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Offer Conditions
