At Q-tech, we are currently looking for a Cloud Security Specialist to join an international environment, playing a key role in strengthening and improving security across complex multi-cloud infrastructures.
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Analyze and gain a deep understanding of security findings generated by Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions across multi-cloud environments, primarily within cloud platforms such as GCP and other cloud infrastructures.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of security findings by reviewing vulnerability backlogs and identifying false positives.
Design and implement structured prioritization frameworks to manage vulnerabilities efficiently and consistently.
Assess security issues within their full technical context to determine their real-world impact and apply a risk-based approach to remediation.
Track remediation initiatives, collaborating closely with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure security gaps are resolved in a timely manner.
Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing hands-on guidance and support throughout the remediation process.
Promote a collaborative security culture by working closely with engineering and operations teams.
Professional experience in Cloud Security, ideally working with CSPM tools and cloud-native architectures at scale.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to design risk assessment and prioritization processes from the ground up.
Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, application code, and vulnerability management practices.
Ability to distinguish genuine security risks from false positives by evaluating issues within their broader technical context.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
Proactive, organized, and results-driven mindset.
Strong ownership and follow-up capabilities to ensure successful vulnerability remediation.
Business-fluent English is required for an international environment. Spanish or German is considered a plus.
