Frontend Engineer

We are collaborating with a self-financed and stable tech startup founded in 2006, which helps to mitigate the effects of climate change through technology.

Their platform has both a B2B and B2C approach, providing access to companies and individuals to contribute worldly to the reduction of deforestation with real life projects.

They are currently hiring two Frontend engineers to their IT team (consisting of 6 professionals) with knowledge in VueJS. Their main mission will be to lead improvement initiatives to add new functionalities, make the platform more scalable, responsive, and user-friendly.

Tasks:

• Creating web interfaces using Javascript, Typescript, and modern frameworks like Vue.
• Delivering high-quality software using best practices, including unit testing.
• Strong emphasis on performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Working alongside UX/UI to translate design mockups and wireframes into collaboration tools.
• Continuous delivery and deployment of their software.
• Playing an active role in their agile rituals and practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new features and products.

Requisitos básicos

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and VueJS3.
• Experience in developing websites, apps, web applications.
• Previous experience with Laravel is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of GIT.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug code.
• Previous experience following agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban).
• Successful experience developing complex projects.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not always necessary.
• Fluent English conversation level
