Engagement, Communication & Talent Initiatives

Descripción

Our client is a leading European technology organization, part of a large multinational group, focused on building and operating digital infrastructures and services across multiple markets. The company operates in areas such as cloud, data, cybersecurity, and digital workplace, supporting both internal business units and external clients.

They are currently in a strong growth and transformation phase, evolving their internal structures and actively shaping their People function to support a scaling organization.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior People Development Specialist to join a growing HR team in Barcelona.

This is a senior, hands-on and highly transversal role, combining people development, employee engagement, communication, and broader talent initiatives.

You will play a key role in ensuring that People programs are not only designed, but effectively understood, adopted, and embedded in the organization, having a direct impact on how employees grow and experience the company.

You will operate in a context where structures and processes are still evolving, offering a great opportunity to shape, build and improve how things are done, rather than just maintaining existing practices.

Key Responsibilities

People development and talent growth (core focus)

  • Design and deliver learning and development initiatives aligned with business needs
  • Support the definition and rollout of career paths and internal mobility frameworks
  • Drive upskilling and talent development programs

  • Translate People initiatives into clear, engaging, and actionable communication
  • Support internal communication efforts in collaboration with the communication team
  • Ensure visibility, understanding, and adoption of HR programs across employees
  • Contribute to engagement initiatives and cultural actions
  • Participate in the organization of events (meetups, university sessions, employer branding activities, internal campaigns)

Talent management and culture

  • Support engagement and cultural initiatives across the employee lifecycle
  • Contribute to the development of a consistent and compelling employee value proposition
  • Participate in DEI-related initiatives

Processes and optimization

  • Help define, structure, and improve HR processes in an evolving environment
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows
  • Work with HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors or similar)
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency

Talent Acquisition (supporting role)

  • Collaborate in recruitment processes when needed
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience
  • Work closely with the recruitment team on employer branding initiatives

  • Hybrid working model
  • Competitive salary
  • Meal vouchers
  • Transport allowance
  • Private health insurance
  • Home working support
  • Wellbeing budget
  • Language classes during working hours
  • Support for personal training and education (e.g. master’s degrees, courses)
  • The opportunity to join a company in a strong growth phase, where the People function is actively evolving
  • A role with real ownership and visibility, working closely with different stakeholders across the organization
  • The chance to contribute to building and shaping People practices, rather than operating in a fully defined structure
  • An international and collaborative environment with a strong team culture

Requisitos básicos

  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles with strong exposure to People Development / Learning, Talent Management and Employee Engagement
  • Proven experience not only designing initiatives, but driving their adoption through effective communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Hands-on mindset, with the ability to operate across multiple HR areas
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging messages
  • Experience in process definition, improvement, or automation is a plus
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors) is an advantage
  • Fluent English (working language)
  • Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration or similar
